Rayner Ends Stackhouse’s Winning Streak

(OCT 28) Light-Heavyweight Mike Rayner was prepared to go six tough rounds with hard punching Mickey Stackhouse before he found a kink in Stackhouse’s armor. After seeing Stackhouse wince from a body shot in the first round, Coach Dominic Robinson-Neal instructed his pugilist pupil to establish the jab in the second in order to bring Stackhouse’s hands up then drop the left hand to the body. The strategy worked to perfection as Stackhouse left his body unprotected and was caught with a body shot that could be heard throughout the arena. Stackhouse never recovered from the vicious body shot as he was counted out at 1:02 of Round 2.
