Rachel Clark Fights to draw in Costa Rica

(SEPT 18) Super hot prospect Rachel Clark on a quest to fight the best up and coming fighters in the world packed her bags and headed south to Costa Rica along with Palmetto Boxing’s head trainer Dominic Robinson-Neal. They went to take on who is considered the top boxer in their country, Hanna Gabriel. Gabriel had her work cut out for her when the undefeated fighter, (3-0), chose Rachel as her opponent for their September 13, 2008 showdown.

The Hype leading up to the fight was unbelievable said trainer Robinson-Neal, “There were billboards, TV commercials, posters and news articles posted everywhere. There was so much hype about Hanna you would think she was Muhammad Ali. People everywhere were telling us that Hanna would knock Rachel out within two rounds. That only motivated us. I was confident in Rachel and her preparation for the fight.

My reply to all the skeptics was we would knock her out within two rounds. It was a great fight. We had her down in the fourth round and let her off the hook. We were never in trouble and we controlled the pace of the fight from beginning to end.

According to the local media we were knocked down in the 5th round. That was completely untrue. Everyone in boxing knows when you go to a foreign country to fight and you come out with a draw, what the real outcome was.

We will gladly accept a rematch tomorrow but we know that they would rather fight a grizzly bear than face Rachel Clark again. We will fight anyone from 147-150.

Just call us, pay us and the fight is on. Records are not a concern to us. We will not spend the next year or two trying to pad our record. We want to fight the best fighters now.
