Thorpe Fights to a Four Round Draw
November 13, 2010

Winston Thorpe (3-0-1) and a game Jesse Barboza (4-1-1), who rallied from being dropped twice in the second round, fought to a 4-round draw. Thorpe had handed Barboza his only loss this past May. Spectators were in shock when the decision was announced. It was clear that Thorpe again had clearly beaten the home town favorite. When you score two knock downs in a four round fight 999.9 % of the time you are surely going to come out with a victory, unless of course you’re in Rhode Island. Congrats Winston on a job well done. Keep up the hard work

(SEPT 22) Angel Gladney’s bravery and heart was on full display September 18th at L.A.’s Staples Center. Both Angel and her opponent Kaliesha West were without a doubt prepared to go to war for the vacant WBO Bantamweight World Title. With only 48 months of boxing training Gladney was given the opportunity that most fighters can only fantasize about. Angel Non-Stop Gladney showed poise and exemplary strength when she represented Palmetto Boxing, the White Rock Boxing Gym and the State of South Carolina. Moreover, her challenger was not shy to give credit where it was due saying “I’ve fought ranked fighters and (Gladney) was stronger than them all”. Angel will surely be on the Championship radar, it’s just a matter of time before this young fighter is again in contention of a World Championship. Congratulations to a job well done, we look forward to the return of Non-Stop at home in South Carolina in early 2011.
